Orientation Programme

Five days built to replace first-day nerves with a sense of direction like a crash course in what campus, cohort and career are about to demand, delivered before a single real lecture begins. Icebreakers turn strangers into a group chat by lunchtime; sessions with faculty, alumni and the placement team lay out exactly what the next two years look like. The PGDM Class of 2026–'28 went through theirs from 24 to 28 June as the most recent batch to walk in nervous and walk out oriented.

Outbound

Before a single case study gets assigned, faculty and students trade the classroom for two days on the sands of Mandarmani, indulging in equal parts ice-breaker and deep breath before two demanding years begin. Beach bonfires, impromptu games and long, unstructured conversations do more for a new batch than any orientation slide deck could, and by the time the bus rolls back onto campus, hesitant hellos have turned into inside jokes, and individual students look a lot more like a batch.

Convocation 25th Silver Jubilee Convocation

Twenty-five years after ISB&M first opened its doors, our Silver Jubilee Convocation brings the graduating class together at the ISB&M Campus Auditorium in Pune on 6 June 2026, honouring their academic achievements before they head out into the working world. Shri Chandrakant Patil, Maharashtra's Hon'ble Minister for Higher and Technical Education, presides as chief guest, joined by Shri Shekhar Mundada, President of the Maharashtra GoSeva Ayog, as guest of honour.

Forza

Force, zest, attitude — the three words Forza is built on, and the mood the whole institute chases every year on its anniversary. Every ISB&M campus marks the occasion together, students, faculty and alumni sharing the same stage and the same noise, for one day feeling like a single institute rather than several campuses scattered across cities. Quizzes, presentations, performances and a healthy dose of good-natured chaos later, everyone leaves reminded why they signed up in the first place.

Sports club event

A week-long competition where football, badminton, table tennis and cricket take precedence over case studies, as batches face off in a running intra-institute tournament. ISB&M treats a healthy competitive streak as part of the curriculum rather than a break from it - the discipline, teamwork and composure under pressure that show up on a playing field are exactly what a boardroom asks for later. Bragging rights, more than any trophy, are really what's on the line.

Fiesta

Our flagship cultural extravaganza turns the campus into a full-blown festival for a few days running for the ultimate dance battles, live bands, drama and a line-up ambitious enough to have brought playback singers KK and Atif Aslam to the stage in past editions. It's one of the most anticipated inter-college fests in the city, drawing crowds well beyond our own campus and giving students free rein to organise, perform and celebrate on a scale no classroom project ever offers.

Guest Talk

Senior leaders take the podium on campus through the year, and the range says something about how broadly our network runs with HR heads from KPMG and Havells, product managers from Mastercard and Walmart, editors from The Telegraph and CNN-News18, and executives from Google and Accenture have all sat down with our students to talk shop. Not the sanitised version either: the war stories, the wrong turns, the calls that could have gone either way teaching the parts of a career a textbook leaf out.

Industrial Visit

Classroom frameworks meet shop floors and trading desks when batches head out to see how a business actually runs once the frameworks are put down. Visits are matched to specialisation where Marketing students walk a retail supply chain, Finance students sit in on a trading floor, HR students shadow a talent team, Media students tour a newsroom or production house. So, what looks identical in a textbook turns out to look very different in person, sector to sector!

4th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMERGINGSOCIO-ECONOMIC TRENDS & BUSINESS STRATEGY

The fourth edition of our flagship international conference returns to the Budge Budge campus on 28–29 August 2026, pulling together researchers, faculty and industry voices from across the country to argue out where business is headed next. Two days of paper presentations, panel discussions and networking lunch that outlast any single session - ESETBiz has grown, edition on edition, into the date our faculty build the rest of the year's research around.
