- Carry Identity Card at all times.
- Switch off mobile phones in classrooms, library, computer labs and during academic activities.
- Maintain silence in the corridors - inside and outside classrooms.
- Attend all lectures, tutorials and extra-curricular and co-curricular activities regularly.
- Read notice board regularly.
- Use library and computer labs in your free time.
- Do not damage or disfigure library books.
- Avoid writing /scribbling on walls, chairs and tables in classrooms and labs.
- Keep the campus neat and clean.
- Cooperate with institute authorities in maintaining the lawns and gardens.
- Switch off lights, fans and ACs while not in use.
- Respect others' independence.
- Do not indulge in rude and indecent behavior with faculty, staff and other students.
- Practice self-discipline and punctuality.
- Report to the Director in case of exigency.
- Dress in Formals/college uniform as and when required by the institute.
- Take prior approval of the Director/Academic Chairperson for absence.
- Smoking, consumtion of drugs and alchoholic drinks are strictly prohibited on campus.
Ragging
ISB&M Kolkata has zero tolerance for ragging in any form, be it physical, verbal, psychological, or online. Ragging is a criminal offence
under Indian law and a direct violation of the UGC Regulations, 2009, on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions.
Any reported incident is acted on immediately: the institute's Anti-Ragging Committee investigates without delay, disciplinary proceedings begin at
once, and as required by law, the matter is also reported to the police. A student found guilty can face penalties ranging from suspension to
expulsion, in addition to any criminal liability under law.
