Shomnath Dutta is a NET/SET-qualified scholar and currently an Assistant Professor at ISB&M Kolkata after 19.5 years service at Techno India Group. Currently completing a Ph.D (Thesis Submitted) from WBSU-Kolkata, he holds an MA (Gold Medalist) in Economics and an MBA in Marketing. With over 21 years of academic teaching experience, he has published high-impact work in Scopus-indexed and UGC-CARE journals, including Environment Conservation Journal and Atna. His portfolio features a self-authored textbook on Industrial Management and book-chapters with prestigious global publishers Routledge and Bloomsbury. His research focuses on sustainable homestay-tourism and socio-economic empowerment, recognized with the 4 "Best Paper" awards at International Conferences ICCBP-2024 MDI Murshidabad, ICFHME 2026 Hooghly, ICMRS Kerala 2026, ESETBiz 4.0 Kolkata
