Masters's Degree in Personnel Management- Symbiosis Inst. of Business Mgt, Pune.
MBA- IISWBM (Calcutta University). Pursuing PhD from St. Xavier's University,Kolkata. Submitted thesis for evaluation in May, 2026.
Awaiting date for defense .
Experience with Leading Industries since 01 July 1988 ( 37 Years). Currently Advisor-HR with BDG Group at Kolkata post retirement from the same organization as Group Head-HR. Have been a Visiting faculty at IMT, Kolkata, Jyotirmoy School of Business, Kolkata, IIMS, Kolkata and Brianware University, Kolkata. Journal Publication- 2 and paper presentation in conference-1. Apart from the above , he is regularly called for guest lectures by various Industrial bodies like CII/Bengal Chamber of Commerce/BNI/Merchant Chamber of Commerce etc.
- 37+ years in Industry and 16 years in part time teaching. Have worked for leading Industries like Union Carbide India (now Eveready Batteries & Flashlights) which he joined through campus interview at Symbiosis, Pune, Coca Cola India, Taj Group of Hotels, Linde Gases as Head- HR for South Asia ( India/Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) CHRO for Aditya Birla Group ( Textile Business having 5000 employees) Group Head-HR for Continental AG ( A German MNC into tyres, auto ancillary and conveyor belts).
1. Taj Bengal recieved the best HR initiative award when he was the HR Head. The award was recieved from Mr. Ratan Tata in 2003.
2. Linde received the Great Place to Work award when he was the HR Head.
3. Recieved Employee of the year award in Linde Gases in 2011.
